                            VOLUME TWO: LAGOS STATE NIGERIA



     Lagos State of  Nigeria is the smallest state in Nigeria yet it is the best city in West Africa. It has the highest number of sky scrappers in West Africa. ECOM is the tallest building in West Africa and it is situated in Lagos. The ECOM tower rises 160m above the city. Lagos is the smallest state in Nigeria but it is the most populated city in Nigeria and the 29th in the world with at least 21 million people as of 2011. It has the longest bridge in West Africa but was actually the longest bridge in Africa until 1996 when Cairo completed theirs. The bridge is called The Mainland Bridge which measures about 11.8km in length.  
     Africa most popular film industry Nollywood is centered in Lagos and nearly and nearly all the Nigerian movie scenes are acted in Lagos which can only be compared to that of California in the United States. Lagos also handles 80% of the country's import in Nigeria because it is close to the Atlantic Ocean.
      Lagos is so interesting that a lot of rich business men from around the world come there and this makes Lagos the third state in Africa that has the highest number of billionaires.
In Lagos, there is a place called Makoko. Makoko is an area in Lagos where houses are built on water. There, people use waterways to transport themselves.
        Lagos has a lot of interesting places and structures that can never be overemphasized. Thereby, it is advisable that one visits so as to experience all these amazing things because I won't be able to write a quarter of the beautiful nature of Lagos.
