Abuja is the capital of Nigeria located in the center of Nigeria. The census held on 2006 states the city's population to be 776,298 and according to the United Nations, it states that the city grew at the rate of 139.7% within 2000 to 2010 making it the fastest growing city in Africa and one of the fastest growing city in the world.

This is an igneous rock actually located Niger state but rises to the north of Abuja. Zuma rock rises 2,379 ft. above it's surrounding land landscape and 3.1 km in circumference and it is the second largest monoliths in the world after Uluru.



                                   NIGERIAN NATIONAL MOSQUE

The Nigerian National Mosque is one of the biggest attractions in Nigeria. The mosque is open to the non-Muslim except during congregational prayers. The mosque was built in 1984 by the then President of Nigeria, His Excellency,  Shehu Shagari and is said to be owned by all Nigerians. The mosque has a library, a  religious school and a conference hall that can contain five hundred persons comfortably. There are also, tour guides provided for tourists.



                                   NIGERIAN NATIONAL CHRISTIAN CENTER

Nigerian Christian Center is also called  National Ecumenical Center. The church was completed in the year 2004 although its construction started since 1989. It was later dedicated on the 2nd October 2005. The church has arches and vaulted ceilings. The altar is situated at the center of the center of the church with a pipe organ at the right wing of the church close to the choristers. Just like the Nigeria National Mosque, the church is owned by all Nigerians and free access for tourists with tourist guides except when it is been used for religious celebrations.

                         


                                                              ASO ROCK

Aso Rock is a 400 meter monolith that is located on the outskirt of Abuja. Close to it, is situated the three complexes of the three organs of government in Nigeria. The presidential Villa, The National Assembly and The Nigerian Supreme Court.

The Nigerian National Library was launched in the year 1964, 4 years after Nigeria got her independence.

Jabi Lake is a mass body of natural water located in Jabi area of Abuja. It has a lot of facilities and a  recreational park called the Jabi Park with a mall too.
The cost of the lake is estimated to be around $1.5 billion. The lake offers boat rides, canoe rides and other aquatic sports, there are also reserved areas for fishing. With green vegetation for relaxation with a beautiful view.
